Ankara sightseeingTurkey is country with traditions, beauty and really rich history. The country has some of the best and highest quality resorts in Europe, which are giving high standard of service and really beautiful nature and weather. However the country has some of the largest metropolis in the world – Istanbul and Ankara. Ankara is the capital of Turkey and the second largest city in country. The multi-million city is situated in a hilly area in the central Anatolian plateau. Around the city there are many remnants of the citadels of the Hittites, Roman and Ottoman ages. Definitely the city is interesting for travel and tourism. All of the guests of the town are impressed by the beauty and organization of the Turkish capital. The city is really highly developed education center and has university, conservatory and academy. Ankara has a lot of parks, plants and trees, where you can have nice day among the beautiful green nature. In the city there is preserved an ancient Roman fortress, which is beautiful architecture and historical tour destinations. Among the biggest and most interesting sightseeings in the city of Ankara is Anıtkabir, the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Actually all around the country there are monuments, pictures and statues of the Turkish Independence Leader. Definitely the face of Ataturk can be seen in many shops, trade centers and buildings. The citizens of Ankara and the guests of the town are visiting the Mausoleum and pay tribute to Ataturk. Also in the area of the Mausoleum there is museum of the life of the Turkish leader and monuments for his life.
