This large metropolis e is located in the middle of the west coast of Peninsula Malaysia and is situated right at the intersection of the rivers Klang and Gombek. The town is situated about 35 km from the coast and is the center of modern and extensive transport network of the peninsula. Modern building in Kuala Lumpur began noticeably after the Second World War and especially after independence of Malaysia. Today the city is a major industrial center of the country, is home to many financial and commercial corporations.

Although modern urbanization, the construction of gigantic buildings, road junctions and overpowered the whole vast sweep of development in every aspect of Kuala Lumpur remains true to its roots. Furthermore, skyscrapers, superb restaurant with Asian specialties and spectacular hotels, the architecture of the city has retained the imprint of its colonial past mix. Notable in this respect are the building of the Sultan Abdul Samad and Royal Club “Selangor”.

With a hand on heart we can say that Kuala Lumpur’s past and future meet in battle unclear which of the two would prevail. But perhaps there is no need in this clash have a winner. The area is popular among the followers of Hinduism, who every year gather here to celebrate the Hindu New Year festival known as Thaipusam, which takes place after the new moon in March.

These caves have some of the most magnificent views. Here are naturally formed large size windows through which sunlight enters through the day. Today Batu Caves are among the most visited destinations in Asia. Among other interesting buildings in the capital of Malaysia is the National Theatre Istana Budaya and the British colonial building Dataran Merdeka.
