Netanya in Israel

For many tourists Israel is only pilgrimage tourism, churches and biblical landscapes. The country also has numerous resorts that bring diversity on the horizon Netanya is the largest Israeli seaside resort on the Mediterranean coast.

The city is located about 30 kilometers from Tel Aviv and 50 km from Haifa. Netanya beach is nearly 14 kilometers long, along which are located 9 beach. The season begins in May and lasts until October, the beaches have lifeguards, restaurants and changing rooms. Fans of windsurfing will find good conditions for practicing this sport.

If you’re a fan of cultural attractions Netanya has several museums, mostly related to local history, urban gallery, cultural center and Yemeni folklore. The town is famous center for processing of diamonds and has a museum dedicated to the precious stone. Other attractions you can visit are farm parrots and pets Kfar-Hess, the Palace of the reef, the fortress Umm Khaled. The central square Kikar summer often held concerts under the stars.
As a tourist center, Netanya shops, cafes and nightclubs abound. Organized visits and citrus plantations around the town. Not far from Netanya is located park Utopia, in which an area of over 40,000 square meters grow orchids, carnivorous plants and other tropical representatives. The park has a mini zoo and singing fountain.
