Nikko in Japan
Nikko is a small town in Japan, located less than two hours north of Tokyo in Tochigi. In spite of its smallness it is quite calm and beautiful destination for travel in Japan and Asia The fastest and most convenient way to come to this pilgrimage town is by train from Tokyo.
Near the town is the famous complex of Buddhist and Shinto temples, located amidst beautiful scenery and marvelous landscapes. Here in the mid-8th century temple was built on Rinodzhi and eight centuries later, around 1616 Yeyasu powerful shogun left a will, stating that in the area wants to build a shrine in his honor.
